Vincenzian Ink Slinging 101

In the heart of Vincenza Italy I roamed to Tattoo. It was a fun trip- I was gettin open with the color pallet which I believe is a big challenge. Here are some photos of pieces I worked on-

ZOMBIE PRAYING HANDS!!- Im really impressed with traditional designs. The history, line work, and graphic quality of these images are beyond immaculate. I use to hate on them back in the day, which shows how far up my ass my heads been hiding. The original praying hands was drawn by Albrecht Durer, a German artist born in 1471. The actual name of the brush drawing is "Hands of an Apostle" and it was painted in 1508. There you go.. a quick Art History fact for your savvy minds..ha. Here I added a bit of a twist which was what my client asked for. Its pretty self explanatory - The zombie seeks redemption.

THE LION OF AZTLAN- Im starting to dig Victorian borders. Lions are pretty sick too, very fierce, strong, majestic. You get the point.
